WOODSTOCK – Douglas "Doug" (Buck) E. Daugherty, 53, of Woodstock, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010 at his home.
He was born March 27, 1957, in Chicago, to Charles E. and Bernice P. (DeJulius) Daugherty.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked as a laborer for a construction company.
He is survived by two sons, Jacob (Shannon) Daugherty of Crystal Lake and James Daugherty of Fort Scott, Kan.; a daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Freeman of Woodstock; two brothers, Glenn (Denise) Daugherty and David (Deborah) Daugherty; two sisters, Joyce (Frank) Rudar and Marcia (Bruce) Hilliard; six grandchildren, Jordan and Riley Daugherty, Derek, Lucas, Kyle and Jack Freeman; his ex-wife, Mary Hawthorne; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents
