Hello to the class of 1975 (does that seem like a long time ago)!

I have been living in Algonquin for 33 years now. My husband, Mike, and I have been married for 33 years and have two sons who live in DC and Virginia. My older son just got married to his long time girlfriend at the end of July. It was fun to dance the night away. We love to travel to DC, Sun Valley, Maui, and Rhinelander, Wisconsin. My husband has an office in Basel and travels internationally for 35 years (yeah for free tickets). We also enjoy going to movies and spending time with family and friends.

Most of my extended family is still living around the general area and we see each other frequently. The next generation of Waters Cousins have started getting married, having kids and setting down roots of their own. My late Mother would have loved all of the great people in the family and how they have stayed close friends.

I work for an educational publisher in Rolling Meadows in assessment product marketing. Staying in education had been rewarding. We are very passionate about what we do.

Just remember what that great writer Jimmy Buffet says: "if we couldn't laugh we would all go insane!"

=> I think crashing freshman orientation our senior year in our pajamas has to rank up there!

=> Playing a grudge match in tennis with Scott Leeper was also very memorable.

=> Going from not having a tennis team freshman year to having a great team our senior year.

=> Playing Monopoly at Cheryl Lindquist's home until 2 in the morning and getting pulled over by the cops for being out after city curfew (I WAS old enough - 18 - but just didn't look it).

=> Knowing kids that you went to elementary school with graduate with you at 18 (MJ Ryan, Becky Smith, Joy Behling, Laura Dinzole, Pip Tade, Paul Amandes, Doug Wilbrant, Peter Dodaro, Dan O'Grady, and more).

=> Hoping never to have to clean up TP again from our trees.

=> Squeezing 8 kids into our VW Bus for Turnabout.

=> Dancing to the Beatles, Elvis, and Styx all night long in Janet Sandner's basement and just thinking that you never wanted to get old (like we are now....)
