Comments:

After two knee replacements, retired in January of 2020. Just bought a new camper to replace the old one we have in the Dells. Looking forward to a little R&R although i am volunteering three days a week at the local food pantry. So if you get to the Dells, you'll find me at Fishermans Luck Campground, site 17. Stop by and I'll buy you a beer.

School Story:

so many memories. so many good times. how about: softball behind Freddy's house, Burger n Brew with all you can eat ribs and Schlitz Dark on tap, cast parties, Luchs' javelin with Kansas and Rush cranked, going undefeated freshman year in football, paying $3/ticket to see Styx and Reo in the gym, and the friendships i made the people i still stay in contact with.

I don't think there is enough room on this page to write what I feel about Beth Ann and all the memories I have with her and Paul. She was such a beautiful person inside and out and wise beyond her years. I was with Paul the night they " hooked up " and it was a match made in heaven.

Beth Ann had a heart of gold and loved people. I have no idea how many nights we spent in Dekalb sitting in her apartment drinking beer and wine and listening to folk music and talking till 3 or 4 in the morning. Her laugh was infectious and thinking of her makes me smile right now. She is one of the few people that new me inside and out. Her family, Paul's family, I thank God that I got the chance to know and love them all and was allowed to be a part of their lives. BA, you will always make me smile and I love you for helping me grow as a person and showing me what kindness really means.

What can you say about Bob. I met him at St. Thomas in 4th grade. I immediately liked him because he was kinda crazy backed then. Then i met his family and understood where he got it. His mom, " Crazy Sal", was a trip. A real nice lady, but has a voice you could hear a block away. We had our end of the year wrestling party there sophmore year. Yeah, he rode his motorcycle in the high school. And he had some bad times after high school. All in all, he was a decent guy and I thank him for all the memories and the laughs and for allowing me to be part of his family. RIP my friend.

Very sorry to hear about Pat. I knew Pat going back to St. Thomas days. We would walk home together sometimes since he lived along the way. I met his family and his mother and mine became friends. Always had a smile on his face. RIP my friend.

I was very jealous of Bob fresh/soph years because he was dating a girl I had a big crush on. Later, after we graduated, Bob would come into Cat Ballous when I was working and we would share some memories and he laughed when I told him about being jealous. Last time I saw Bob, he came into Cat's while I was working and he was waiting for the train to Chicago so he could go meet some friends. Party on Bob.

very sad to hear about Kevin. He was part of the " Colby Subdivision Gang" as I was. You always knew when it was dinner time at the Bird house because you would hear the bell clang throughout the neighborhood. Many a fond memory of 8th grade summer taking the canoe out to Hillstroms raft and beyond and tipping the canoe over and everyone trying to get back in. Seems like he was always laughing. And that Chevelle. I'm sure he was the envy of all male classmates. Thanks Kev for all the memories.
